Cm stunich five forgotten souls book 21/13/2024 ![]() ![]() Then one horrific night changes everything and the five are on the run. Once like her brothers, Merit now feels something different for them. One disappeared over the years, but the other four have stayed together when not in a placement. They started out as five small children together. But she has made a family for herself with a few of the other boys in the system. She has seen the ugly side of life unwanted, unloved. Merit Burden is the product of the foster care system. Her Rock-Hard trilogy was excellent, but I believe that Five Forgotten Souls is going to be much better. Her books have a sense of rawness that cannot be touched. ![]() CM Stunich has earned herself a spot in my heart as the best at producing a gritty, realistic RH. We have some very talented authors and there is an incredible variety of stories within the RH world now sci-fi, fantasy, paranormal. This genre has grown and evolved so much over the past year. I am also hoping we get a good storyline now that we know the MCs, and not just 5 delinquents roaming the streets and exploring their new relationship status.Īnyone who is familiar with my reviews knows how much I love Reverse Harem (RH) books. The situation that has them leaving with Merit isn't great, and was potentially far fetched (she could have just run, not had it end the way it did, so hopefully that is a lead up to something bigger in the next novel and not just left as her now on the run from the law rather than anything substantial). This book was a great set up for the MCs though - we get to see a bit of their past and how they fit together. He doesn't fit into the picture the same as the other guys do. Its great that they've got a past, but its so distant that I doubt she should be calling him 'best friend' when its been years since she's seen him, and he definitely wasn't one of the ones making the group home bearable - he came into the home just before she left and was rude and horrible to her. I did think the blurb was a bit misleading, making me wonder where Hitch was at the start of the book, so was a little taken aback at how he entered into the picture. Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. She's the author of over thirty novels – romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. When she's not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn't mind – especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. The Seven Mates of Zara Wolf Series (Pack Ebon Red is book #1)Ĭ.M. The Rock-Hard Beautiful Trilogy (Groupie, Roadie, Moxie) 2. MORE REVERSE HAREM/MENAGE ROMANCE by C.M. BEAUTIFUL SURVIVORS (Book #1 in the Five Forgotten Souls Trilogy) - This is a reverse harem story (one girl with four love interests aka MMFMM romance) set in the new adult/young adult genre with steamy scenes best suited for ages 18+. And the only way we can tackle it is together. Falling in love wrapped in the gritty arms of reality. Just the five of us on the run, five teens alone in the city. Everything changes the night we decide to escape. Except.I don't want them to be my brothers. They're everything to me, almost like brothers. These boys, they make the group home we live in bearable. But me and my four best friends, we're family. ![]()
